Writing Centre

What we do:

We provide writing support to all students in the JMP department. We assist students with regard to understanding what is expected of them, structuring their assignments, writing clearly and coherently, and referencing properly.

We provide writing support in the form of:

• Workshops (usually for a specific module, requested by the lecturer)
• Digital feedback
• One-on-one meetings with a student

Any student taking part in a module presented by the JMP department can make use of this service, and is welcome to contact us. Please note: In order for us to provide you with useful feedback on your writing, please send your draft at least 3 to 4 days before it is due. Make sure that you inform us of the hand-in date, and if possible, send your assignment brief along with your draft.
