Nomfundo Zwane

Nomfundo Zwane is an Associate Lecturer in Digital Animation in the Department of Media and Communication at Nelson Mandela University, where she teaches various subjects including Copywriting, Creative Communication in Advertising, and Film. As a Master’s candidate in Creative Media Production, her research focuses on the use of animation and visual storytelling as educational tools for young audiences. She is a co-recipient of the 2024 Engagement Excellence Project Award (STEM) for The CyberSmart Squad, an interdisciplinary animation initiative promoting cyber safety among young learners.
