The compulsory component of the course is made up of a language (comprising FOUR modules) plus TEN LMC modules at 1st-year level. Students may choose Afrikaans or English or French or isiXhosa as their core language. Students choosing English as their core language must select the FOUR appropriate modules for that particular type of English study i.e. LLE101, LLE102, LLE103 and LLE104.
